All about mini-sessions

Mini Sessions are shorter sessions that are designed to capture a handful of beautiful professional photographs of your children or family. They are a great opportunity to enjoy the professional photography experience without necessarily investing in a full family session.

Your package covers your Session Fee and a certain number of digital files that you will be able to select from a Photo Gallery. These sessions are held at a location selected by me and location is given after booking.

These sessions are only 15 or 20 minutes long and back-to-back with other families, so please arrive 10 minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to park, straighten clothing, and wipe messy faces, I would hate to cut into your session time, so please be sure to plan accordingly.

If the weather is questionable, I will be in touch that day with our backup plan.

What to wear

Family Photos

Please prepare all clothing at least one week prior to your session to be sure everything fits properly, Remember: shoes will be visible.

The time of the day and setting you choose for your photos is crucial to determine the best colors for your images, if you like your images bright, light and airy, with beautiful lush greens, morning and midday is recommended. If this is what you love think flowy, lighter neutral colors, long maxi dresses with jean jackets for moms/daughters and button downs for the guys. Hats are always a great addition to any outfit. Please avoid prints, logos and stripes.

Pastels and neutrals are a great option for beach photos as well as bare feet!

In the Fall and Christmas time, I suggest earthy tones: browns, navy blue, cranberry and mustard colors are amazing in a forest-woodsy setting, these tones are perfect for golden hour sessions. Solids are always a better choice.

Newborn Photos

Have the family wear comfortable, simple, neutral-colored clothing. Stay away from logos, words, and characters on shirts, and neon colors. Newborns photograph best in a simple white onesie, as most newborn clothing are cute, but they don't fit well! You can add a little hat or headband for variety (but not one so big it takes the focus away from baby!)

Please have a solid color swaddle blanket to wrap baby.

1. What's your turnaround time?

Depending on the season, 3-5 days on a low season and up to 10 days during busy times.

2. Can you re-edit my photos in a different way or photoshop a few extra things in my photos?

There is an additional cost per additional edition

3. I need less photos than what is included in the package, can you adjust the price?

Session fees include not only images but also the photographer's time, equipment and knowledge so I cannot offer any price adjustments.

5. Can I have all unedited images and raw files?

When you hire me I understand that you like my photography style, my goal is to provide you with the best images that I carefully select and hand edit, trust me that what I deliver is just the best of your session, unedited images cannot be released

6. Is it possible to buy additional images?

Yes, you can always purchase additional images from your photo gallery

7. Do you offer printing services?

Yes, I work with a great photo lab and I offer prints and canvas.

8. Do you have a referral program?

Yes I do! I offer free prints and special discounts per client referred
